Job Description-Location Lead

Location leads manage the day to day activities of the ride that they lead.  Not only do the leads work side by side with the regular team members to work the ride, but they also are the first point of contact for any situations that may occur, such as issues with the ride, guests with problems, or team member issues.  Leads start working earlier and leave later, managing the paperwork that is required daily.

Requirements & Qualifications

-Must be currently pursuing a college degree
-Commit to working through the peak operation season (mid May - mid August)
-Flexible availability (schedules include nights, weekend and holidays)
-Excellent human relations and communication skills
-Display initiative and sound judgment
-Previous leadership experience is preferred

Acheivements

A final project is required for completion of the internship.  We were able to form teams of up to 4 interns, and were tasked with coming up with an idea that would benefit the park in some way.  We would then expand on that idea, research our topic, and present our final concepts to a board of senior park leaders.
